I want to design a book cover for my story. It's about a man who falls in love with his sex robot and installs an illegal artificial intelligence on her. The story focuses on the growing love between the man and robot, and the philosophical question of what it means to be alive.
The female robot character looks human in every way, except for the top of her head, where the skin of her scalp has been removed and an external hard drive has been installed and taped on. Ideally, the cover involves an image of her, a beautiful woman (who is light skinned with green eyes), with a mechanical cranium jutting out from her human form. A stylized side-profile shot is preferred!
-The woman has no hair, please don't include literal hair in your submission - some stylistic design around the head resembling hair could be interesting, though (just a thought). For instance, I perceive an almost explosive protrusion of machine components from the back of the head.
-Also, style-wise: I would like the vibe to have a more classical feel (not too tacky sci fi), and would prefer illustrations, if possible.
PLEASE DO NOT COPY THE EX MACHINA ROBOT TOO MUCH! I want a character/design that looks distinct from that, at least somewhat.
!!!!Also, the vibe of the character shouldn't be ominous or overtly sexual, but more pensive, and contemplative. Think of a portrait painting, how the person seems regal and serene, like that.
The title of the story is "Loving her" (title) and my name is "Trevor Sorel" (author), both of which will obviously need to be included and integrated into the design.
