Farmer Ken is about rewriting the way we produce, brand and sell the experience of organic farming in Kenya.
Farmer Ken is a second generation steward of the 40 year old family farm. My role us to cultivate the ground for the next generation to learn, harvest and develop better ways of thinking and producing.
I produce and curate a wide range of vegetables, livestock and camping experiences on our mixed-use, family owned farm (Lusoi Farm).
My purpose is to make farming and fresh organic food accessible to CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES and to cultivate spaces in which we can learn to make better decisions about our health and the ways we can continually recreate our communities.
Our customers are the COOKS or CHEFS in residential, recreational and commercial kitchens.
Our value proposition to them is the promise of fresh, organic ingredients harvested from our farms and delivered the same day to their kitchens as well as being available from our (rural and urban) farm shops.
We are based in Kenya and would like to grow over the next 10 years into a company that can competitively export our produce across the world.
Farmer Ken loves children, dogs, fresh air, football (soccer), family, friends, farming and he believes that good food is love.
