Hello! I own two very well established salons in St. Louis. I want to re-design my first salon’s logo so that it has a more consist branding with its brother salon. We have a unique concept that I would like our logos to represent. KINK has been servicing a clientele of mostly business and fashion savvy women and their families for nearly a decade. We are currently growing, relocating and redesigning our space, which makes for a perfect opportunity to rebrand. Our clientele is 70% female, 30% male. Median age is 25-45. 80% liberal, 20% conservative. We are well known in the industry and house some of its best professionals. The salon has a decor that has feminist art, tattooed and rainbow haired stylists (as well as classic), and honors the contributions of women from all walks of life. At the same time, it’s not girly. It’s cool and creative, with unfiltered conversation and very skilled artists who have won awards for their work. Our team is very close, and we have almost no turnover. A lot of stylists want to work with us.
It might be helpful to google “ambigram.” I am hoping to lose the hardness of the original logo, while leaving the element that makes it recognizable. I want it to be easily read as KINK, but have fun with twisting it and turning it to create something new and unique.

Our brother salon is Notch. I am including it’s logo. I had the logo designed through this site, and I am very happy with the result. Notch honors classic men and caters to a non gender specific clientele in a very queer, and artistic community. Very liberal. The logo conveys masculinity, which is true to its barbershop roots, without being too “male.”
I would like KINK’s logo to be the feminine counterpart to Notch’s.
