We sell custom designed tours and travel to Asia, for a mainly European audience who are fairly well-off, well educated and cultured and who are looking for unique 'off the beaten track' travel experiences.
Our clients are not necessarily adventurous, but they are interested in experiencing and understanding foreign cultures in greater depth than the usual tourist.
We provide this level of immersion in our destinations by employing only locals as guides and consultants, and endeavour to personalise our clients' journeys to match their interests and characters.
Also, our company name 'Backyard Travel' is designed to express the idea that we offer travel services as local residents of the destinations... so the destinations are 'our Backyard'. The tagline 'Asia is our Backyard' is used to reinforce this idea.
We generally are not looking for any design which is too 'Asian' in character, our audience are more worldly than this.
