Need Cool Icon for Outdoor Fundraiser (Walk) for Animals

Local Animal Shelter

We are a local animal shelter needing to raise funds for the animals. In the Spring, we have a large outdoor event scheduled where people can bring their dog and do a 5K walk to raise funds for the shelter. I am in search of a cool, fun and fitting icon to represent the Walk. We would use it on t-shirts and maybe a few other places to help us promote the event.

Our targe audience is anyone who loves animals, specifically dogs.

Looking for an icon, emblem or logo to represent this event. Ideally, the icon would be appropriate to use as a graphic on a t-shirt, so something cool, eye-catching and appropriate to the event would be ideal. The theme of the event is "Barkin' Beach Bash," so the icon would need to say "Barkin' Beach Bash--17th Annual Walk for Animals."

Color palette should use tropical colors, and could also include our brand colors of PMS 138, PMS 301, PMS 5767, PMS 4995, and PMS 729.

--Please, no stock art or images, and no clip art.
--Should be playful but not cheap or childlike, so not too 'cartooney'
--Nothing too elegant - we do not want to come across as being fancy. We want everyone to relate to this event and feel like it will be a fun, upbeat event for the entire family.
--Looking for clear, simple and bold typeface. We want something that stands out. Again being careful not to be too fancy.
--Our name and logo will most likely NOT be part of this icon, we may place that on the shirt sleeve or elsewhere in the design, so this icon must be able to stsand on its own.
