An independent developer with an insane attention to detail launching the first of a planned series of iOS applications.
People looking for a cutting edge, simple tablet web browsing experience that blends well with the stock iPad look and applications.
I'm looking for an icon to represent Hydra, a new innovative way of browsing the web on multiple displays with the iPad.
The icon should be a representation of a hydra, a multi-headed sea creature from Greek mythology.
The hydra should have an odd number of between 3 and 9 heads.
The bulk of the hydra's body should not be showing, instead just its necks and heads should be seen protruding from the water.
A clean, abstract or heavily simplified style is preferred over realistic or cartoon drawings.
There should be no text in the icon.
I am leaning towards using a color scheme similar to Mobile Safari's: a mixed (lightish) blue background with a mostly white image and red accents. This is just a preference though, not a hard requirement.
Icon must follow Apple's guidelines: http://developer.apple.com/iphone/l…mages.html
The icon should not have "shine" (the rounded-corners, drop shadow, glossly overlay) applied as iOS does that itself.
