QuickAndStrong.com
We are a start up company who will be specializing in helping people get in shape. Specifically focusing on people in the Crossfit community. If you're not familiar with Crossfit here's a good video that should help you understand it a little better:

And here's another video:
Crossfit is based on competitive workouts. People workout in groups and start at the same time. They literally compete to be the first person to finish a workout, or to do the most rounds in a specific set of time.
People go to specific "Crossfit Gyms" to workout. And there are competitions that extend world wide to see who is the "fittest person on the planet." Here's kind of a glimpse into the games mentality: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d56vncB267k
The people who workout at Crossfit often times just want to get in better shape, are bored of their current workout routine, or are just very competitive and enjoy working out *extremely* hard and pushing themselves to the absolute limit.
They often get very obsessive about Crossfit, and it becomes a very big part of their life. In addition, the people who go to the same gym with them often become extensions of their "family" and form strong bonds.
This website should have the look and feel of an "extreme" fitness website with the overall "Crossfit feeling."
Here's a couple examples:
It should also be designed to be a "blog" on the home page, and also we need a "lead capture" page designed as well.
This website (which is in a *completely* different market) should be used for a template.
http://www.WorldOfBeekeeping.com
The reason why that should be used as a general template is because of the sales process that is built in. We need a header graphic that includes a "face" (Which will be Darren Darsey) at this point (pic attached of Darren.)
The website needs to also have a lead capture process. Like seen here:

The survey section will be critical to the success of this Crossfit website and it needs to be included.
We are not 100% sure what direction this buisness will ultimately take, and the survey responses will help shape that. So the website design should be fairly generic in nature, but still focused on the extreme nature of Crossfit, while still not appearing too intimidating to beginners.
Losing weight and gaining muscle could also be included and giving that impression would be good as well. In addition the feeling of becoming an "elite" athlete would be great.
