Obvious Apps

Obvious Apps will be a disruptive force in the burgeoning mobile apps space. We provide a unique user experience for submitting and voting on app ideas for millions of iPhone, iPad, and Android users and fans. We leverage social media, digital currency, and crowdsourcing to achieve exceptional brand recognition.

We receive idea submissions from our community and allow everyone to vote on the top 5 ideas of that round. After development of the app is complete, our app is live on the App Store and the idea submitter begins to receive a 10% royalty for every download.

Our community is composed of iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and Android device users and fans. You are not required to own a device, only to have a great idea for an app - so our target audience is relatively broad. However we typically find that users are within the 18-30 age range.

Our website needs to exhibit a fun, sleek (but not TOO "techie") feel that will attract the greatest amount of users to participate in our process. You may visit our current site, http://www.ObviousApps.com to see the current layout.

Other than the parameters given below, we want you to get creative and really put your mark on this site. We are a unique and exciting company, so our website naturally should reflect that!

We need to:

1. Have our current logo flow well with your design. It is attached (the icon is also attached and can be incorporated if needed).
2. Have our minibar also flow well. I have attached a screenshot of what it will look like. The white part on top is simply the page behind the minibar. (Ignore the current minibar design on ObviousApps.com. Also, in the future this will be "skinnable" to where the color can be changed so don't sacrifice an awesome design to simply conform to this).
3. Keep in mind the "idea submission" and "voting" forms which will be the main driver of the site. These are simple text forms, so your page design needs to be exciting enough to compensate for the more bland parts, such as these forms.
