Here is an excerpt from the storybook I would like the contest to be centered on:
She lived in a tree, but not in the branches,
No, old Penny lived by the roots, she didn’t take chances.
If you were to step into her house, I’m sure you would find
So many things and objects of every kind.
See, Penny the hoarder, had a big flaw.
She had to have every shiny object she saw.
From floor to ceiling, from the left to the right,
She stacked all her tiny treasures, and was that a sight!
There were pins and buttons and glasses and rings,
There were tins and there were watches and golden shoe strings!
She had a little pathway that served as a guide
She never had company, they wouldn’t fit in her house if they tried!
