Landing Page Design for A Modern, Fun, and Futuristic Consumer Website Used For 3D Printer Control

The goal of OctoEverywhere is to empower all makers around the world to print better with free remote access to OctoPrint, which is a common 3d printing control software. My community is mostly just "average Joe" consumers, some of which have a more technical background. The service is built for the community so I try to keep it as free as possible, but supporters of the project can pay $3/month to get extra perks.

I'm very open to hearing interesting ideas anyone has and would be more than happy to chat! I will do my best to respond ASAP! Since I’m just looking for a landing page refresh, I’m looking for something that will fit my current color and “space/rocket” theme since I use it on the rest of the website. That said, I would like the theme to "feel like" the color theme, but it's not required to strictly use the same colors I already use. Feel free to use the tones of gray, the blues, and the pinks as a base for the idea, but also feel free to tweak them if subtle variations of them work better. I really want a sleek, futuristic, powerful, fun, modern look. I know the deliverable of this content will be a static layout, but I would love for the site to have a lot of motion or some kind of unique element (like the current parallax background scroll effect). I would like to see motion ideas incorporated into designs possible if possible, indicating where motion could be. For example, if there is a gradient background, some kind of note on how it could move and flow on the actual website. (see strip's landing page for example.) I would also be open to seeing some kind of the modern "frosted glass" like effects, but it's not required. The layout needs to be responsive to screen size. I would like the deliverables to be desktop and mobile designs, and then I can have the programmers work to adapt any responsive screen sizes. Due to the nature of my product, I can't make many screenshots because it's mostly just giving remote another software system. For that reason, I mostly stick to flat vector-based images over any kind of real person or object stock photos. I also use a lot of emojis in text around the website 🙌

Current site and content: https://octoeverywhere.com/ I would like to keep most of the actual content as-is from the current website. Again, the entire point of all the content on the landing is just to build user trust and intrigue, so they sign up and install the free plugin. I like the big and bold intro text that tells users exactly what the service does and emphasizes it's unlimited, fast, secure, and free. I would like the big "Setup Now In Under 30 Seconds" call to action button to be above the fold on almost all devices so it's right there for all users. I would also like the "printers online" and rating to be near the top. In the business of remote access security and safety are big on users' minds, so I want to show the service already has a large user base and it's highly rated. The next section with the three boxes, some of that content could change. Mostly these three boxes are just describing the main perks of the main feature, which is remote access. I would be open to the longer text describing some of the points or removing some of the points if they aren't needed. I'm quite open to how this part could look, but mostly there just needs to be space for me to let the user know the top 7-10 abilities of the main feature. The next two boxes (about apps and notifications) inform the user of some other features we now offer on top of remote access. I would be interested to see how these could be designed, and this is a place where as I add features in the future I would like to keep adding more boxes or content like these to advertise the new features. The user reviews I think are very important to get user trust for the reasons I said above. If this was small enough and looked cool enough, I would actually be open to maybe even moving them above the "feature boxes" that describe the additional features of the website. I would be open to seeing an "as seen on" box where I could feature some YouTube videos or blog websites that have done reviews of my service. The final FAQ is really just for users who want to read all of that, I assume most users don't get down that far. I would probably want to keep the content on the main site, but having a design where it's collapsed by default or something would be totally fine. As for a footer, I have been for a while wanting to make a more official-looking footer. I was thinking something simple like https://www.thespaghettidetective.com has.

I'm open to other ideas that might kind of "break the mold" from what I listed above. I would like to stick to the current color theme (or close to it) and the space theme, but I would be open to others as well if they work really well for some reason.
