I'd love your ideas on how to convey my design vision into a logo and branding mark for usage on: Website, letterhead, various business documents, and business card. Here's some background to understand the behind the scenes of the business name...
My company name, 2PM comes from the initials of my 3 children-my dearest and true source for creative inspiration. The idea of 'lab' is a cue to my favorite phase of the design process- the exploring, collaborating, sharing, playing around with ideas and letting everything bubble up when all the ingredients are in place for a full robust concept. I think design should live 'in the grey' to percolate for as long as possible to allow the optimum time and process to develop. AND- 'Lab' is also a wink to my sweet dog :-)
I would like to convey a lively spirit within the logo for a strong nod to flair, style, creativity and my love of color, but within an overall sophistication, level of restraint, and high-end aesthetic.
I am interested in exploring info-graphical cues within the logo, providing they don't get too cutesy or too bold, and providing it cues to overall design/creative expertise.
I'm open to graphic, illustrated, or photographic assets for visuals.
I like the idea of incorporating color ombre, wash, or variegation in the logo to evoke my passion for palette and to set the mode for overall design focus. I'm very interested in a burnished metallic gold color/detail incorporated into the logo, and I'm also drawn to the color edge detail on business card designs, specifically.
I'm open to any exploration of placement and scale orientation for the letters themselves. I can consider 2pm as primary, with creative lab as secondary- OR with all sharing the same and equal weighting.
I tend to prefer strong lower case usage for a friendly and feminine cue, but open to any combination. I'm open to hand-written scripted fonts, and well as rounded clean structured fonts.
I'm so excited to see what the outside creative world shakes out and look forward to your ideas!
