Butler Architectural Group
My new firm will be one where the staff shall be able to grow into the architects they dreamed of becoming. The older members shall mentor the younger ones. The younger ones shall keep the older ones fresh.
We will demonstrate respect of our resources through our office practices. Ideas of sustainable design shall inform our decisions about workflow and material interaction. The projects we design shall help our clients better understand their part of the community.
The firm is located in East Texas, a rural area experiencing a lot of growth. The area has been conservative in the past, but a change of ideas and thoughts is happening.
The current website is being developed. The previous firm website is http://www.fitzpatrickbutler.com for an example of the style of work my firm produces.
Our clients include liturgical, education, multi-family and single family housing, non-profits, commercial (retail and office) and recreation/sports.
The clients include individuals, corporations, boards/committees and community groups.
The identifying image could include the firm name, Butler Architectural Group; the initials, BAG; the founder's name, Butler; the founder's initial, B; or a logo/icon that would become recognizable as the firm's without a name or initial.
The image should be able to color adapt to different situations; eco colors for a sustainable event, primary color for something kid oriented, etc. The design should also work in black and white or shades of gray.
The image should be able to be viewed in a professional setting by corporate types, yet maybe have a fun side (BAGgies, BAGgettes)?
The image will be used in the future for business cards, project signs and other promotional material.
The selected image should be available in digital formats I can adapt to various promotional material, ie. web page, brochures, letterhead, business cards, etc. It has been suggested a web file format of .jpg and .png and a vector file format of .eps and .ai.
