Brief Overview: BarTag is a social nightlife tool that will be marketed across retailers, bar owners, bartenders and patrons. Think of us as a Facebook meets SAS. We are a company setting out to revolutionize the inner workings of the nightlife industry. While we are spread across the country, we are based in New York City and draw on deep-rooted Texas influences. As a startup, we need to establish a strong, memorable presence while maintaining a respected and trustworthy image as a long-term business partner.
Our logo should be edgy, but not flashy. It must meet the professional standards of Fortune 1000 companies while at the same time be marketable to the 21-40 consumer demographic. This logo will be incorporated into our web presence, business cards, mobile app and company presentations.
Conte para a gente quem é você e quem é seu público alvo
Target Audience: Our role as a company will be as an intermediary between advertisers, nightlife professionals and patrons. Our logo must appeal to the edgy, trendsetting crowds in urban settings such as Meatpacking in Manhattan, Williamsburg in Brooklyn and [mid-town] in Houston. The logo should fit comfortably on hipsters’, urban youths’ and young professional’s smartphones.
Following on the ‘edgy, but not flashy’ statement above, we must have a professional presence in front of our corporate partners. Help us develop a logo that doesn’t turn off the professional crowd but demonstrates a forward thinking mindset. We want our logo to be a muffled scream of excitement.
Requirements: The length of our company name should allow sufficient flexibility to either use an abbreviation, acronym or full spelling. That said, please ensure some derivation of the logo fits prominently in a mobile app setting.
Please stay creative, but logos with animals, multiple neon colors or silhouettes of naked women (or men) won’t fit the bill. Please make sure all content is your original creation and avoids trademarked or stock content.
