Like most father’s I see the time slipping away with our oldest son. As he finishes his senior year of High School I find we are spending less and less time together. When Jencen was 14 I tried to ignite in him the love I have for cycling. Just before his first Cyclocross race he missed a turn during warm up and we had to cut him out of the black berry bushes. That ended his racing career. His main cycling afterward was the Boy Scout San Juan Islands trip and the family bike camp on Ocas Island.
Fast forward to this year. In talking about his senior trip we talked about Disney World, visiting family in Tennessee etc. I casually brought up bicycling to the Grand Canyon. To my delight he thought that sounded awesome! The "wheels" were in motion.
We hope this will be the first of many future bicycle tours (financed by our advertisers and equipment sales through our website) where we promote family togetherness, gear testing, interesting places, people and food.

Middle aged parents looking for a way to reconnect with their kids, especially when their kids get busy and grow up so fast!
Many of the middle aged, week-end warrior bicycle riders that are slowing down a bit, still love to ride, but realize that they will never be Lance Armstrong. They want to go on vacations, share something with their kids and build memories, not just pay off the mortgage and SUV.
Want to use the logo as part of website that we sell advertizing to gear companies that serve the outdoor and bicycling industries.
Our goal is to capture the viewer of our websites (attracted by the sharp logo) imagination quickly, taking them to another place that they want to escape in for awhile (and in turn selling that concept to advertisers).
The lettering and symbol of the logo need to be bold, elegant and memorible.
The following may help:
1. No Cartoons
2. Warm and inviting, not cold and corporate
3. Typeface clear, simple and bold
4. Symbol with the logo needs to represent more than one person and more than one bicycle
