We are a community based gym. That sounds cheesy, but it has never been more true. We do not target a specific demographic, although 30-45 year olds make up the bulk of our clients. Middle to upper middle class. Just married, 1st baby, 1st purchased home, professional families.
We focus on improving peoples quality of living through health and wellness. We are about confronting the unknown and making difficult changes in our lives in order to achieve something greater. We build a social support system by having the clients invest in each other. There is no intimidation and it is important that all feel welcomed. At the same time, we will not accept anything less than complete commitment. I guess their is a soft edge to it.
Black Wolf is after my dog. A german shepherd/border collie mix. I have called him the black wolf since he started getting so big. He reflects the business accurately. He is welcoming and will love anyone, though it may be rough/tough love (doesn't know his own strength). But when push comes to shove, if anyone is put in danger, the dog will scare the hell out of anyone.

I am attaching a photo of the dog who inspired the name as well as the logo of District H CrossFit, my old gym which I have since sold. I love the District H logo but will catch a lot of heat if my new logo looks similar to it.
