Cohesive Minds / COHESIVE MINDS (open to either)
We are looking for an original, modern, fun logo that will be used on our new company blog and business cards (design open to winner).
We are a brand new digital apps start-up company specializing in creating online digital applications that offer a fantastic user experience for online users.
We are a small 3 person company with big dreams of creating digital apps that offer a fantastic user experience. We also like to have fun, and help those less fortunate than us.
The logo should appeal to active 18 to 49 year old, male and female (majority), online users who actively use the internet.
Our first product is a niche price comparison website to help 25-34 year old females (majority of users) save time and money. Having said that, don't just think 'time' or 'money' with the design concept. This is just the nature of our first product. We will probably branch out into other niches in future products.
Try Cohesive Minds and COHESIVE MINDS.
The logo will be used on our company blog, using this theme, possibly a lighter shade of gray. So, the logo must look good on a dark background, but also on a white background if we decide to change the design.
The logo will also be used on our business cards, so must also look clear and sharp in print.
The name came from the fact that the company is about connecting people.
To give you some direction, we are looking for an original, modern, contemporary look, so think 'young', 'fun', 'modern', and 'digital'.
We like clever yet simple logos, like these examples:
That doesn't mean the logo has to look like those examples. We are open to all original creative designs.
Feel free to experiment with bright and bold colors for a fun look.
The files we will require are:
Print file format - .ai (CMYK)
Web file format - .png and layered .psd (RGB)
Please do not use any stock images or clip art.
Avoid the dark, mysterious, grunge look; complex designs, colors like lime green, reflections, drop shadows, etc. Keep it clean and simple.
Also avoid the side profile of a head (e.g. cognitivematch.com) because this design is very common. However, if you can come up with a new interesting twist on that concept, then we're open to it.
