Our firm, Chief Outsiders provides part-time Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs) to mid-sized and growth companies. Unlike a typical marketing consulting company, our CMOs actually become part of the CEO's staff, bringing an outsider perspective directly into the company's executive team.
Our company's ambition is to grow a firm of 300 consultants, worldwide. So having an identity that works globally is a must.
Our identity needs to appeal to CEOs and presidents of small and mid-sized companies, their board of directors, private equity firms, and sometime the Chief Financial Officer. They want a firm they can trust.
Also, our brand must attract and retain top marketing executives as our CMOs. It needs to be a company experienced marketing leaders want to be a part of. They want a firm that's passionate and impactful.
We are re-branding our marketing firm, Chief Outsiders.
We are abandoning our current logo and identity (American Indian) due to the unnecessary political baggage some people associate. We did, however, like the boldness of the colors. However, we realize we need to find a balance between boldness and appropriateness to our targets, who are largely more conservative, especially in viewing a potential marketing executive consultant.
