I have had the honor and privilege of having several dogs and cats over the years and in that time I have run into problems as an owner that I could find no practical solution. When I was presented with the opportunity to care for others pets, my business of Love That Dog was born. I am mobile, active and energetic as my pups I watch. What I found was various issues and problems that were never practically addressed by practical ideas. I am a thinker and a doer. This created the next phase of my life as an inventor of solutions to problems I have encountered. I have address the needs of things like cold hands, dirty cars, smelly cars, hot dogs and in the process of bringing them all to market under the umbrella company to be known as, "Love That Dog!" . The name originates from my expenditures on my own pets and it was the answer to the question, "why spend that much?"...Answer? Because I just love that dog!

Generally the market is dog owners, but can be expanded into dog and cat owners. My products are currently toward dogs, but there will be more to come and the target may be other than dogs. The target audience is a mobile set. They might be walking, running or driving around with their dogs (pets). The age demographic will be looking for bright practical easy to read/understand visually. The age specific demographic is a rather large range, 20s to 60s (typical bell shaped curve). I would expect more married females with children to purchase the items due to the preponderance of the typical Subaru wagon with 2 kids and a dog stuffed in the back I see all the time.
This identity is the launching point and focus of the product line. The name of the business "Love That Dog!" is a statement. You see bumper stickers of the "I heart my (fill in the blank breed) dog" and the popularity of some breeds like fashion statements as examples of how people identify with their pet. The logo should be less Disney cartoony without being too serious. I like paw prints and stylized dogs in action. I don't like "spaniel with duck, hunting posture" in oil paint (think Cabela's Sports) as this will not be addressing any hunters needs. It should convey action, movement. Head out the window ears flapping, medium size breed dog. Always happy. Owner happy, dog happy.
