I work in a high tech field. Primarily in the realm of telecommunications and equipment sales (Cisco, Avaya, etc.). I want my partners to be able to leverage their existing long term "trusted partnerships" with other partners whose core business in technology may be different. They can share relationships and the referral compensation associated with the sales made to each others customers. My goal is to brand this as a social media portal for the sharing of leads and knowledge.

Target audience would be anyone who sells in a high tech field (Phone Equipment, Routers, Network Services, Telecom, etc.). They can be on the direct and indirect sales side of their respective companies. This portal will allow them to create more powerful relatioships with their selling partners and a more comprehensive solution for their customers. They would offer not just their core service to the end user, whether that be equipment or software.. but also an ancillary service outside that core. Thus bringing the customer the total solution through partnering. Through channel swapping.
My growth goal would be to expand this offering outside of high tech industry and roll it out to all people in all industries as a way to share and source realtionships through trusted partners. What I call relational currency.
Please feel free to be as creative as you like. Themes should be strongly focused around an idea of partnership. A joining together to consult with a customer. Also central to the theme should obviously be an idea of the swapping of data and information ultimately leading to a sale and long term partnership. A channel for building relationships and swapping/sourcing connections.
