Colorado Beer Trail is the go-to resource for craft beer enthusiasts looking for a complete solution to discover and share great craft brews. Colorado Beer Trail is a marketing tool for brewers, restaurants, cities, and industry providers to engage in an active audience to hae a great experience. The site and app will allow users to best find what they are looking for fast, cutting through the clutter, and finding new great gems they may have missed otherwise.
Our audience is 2/3 male, mid 20s to mid 40s, technology savvy and educated. Though this first venture sounds like it is FOR the Colorado market, almost half of users are from outside the state and are using CBT as a resource to plan their next beer adventure.

Additional design ideas / considerations:
Working off the "trail" name, and to some degree, "Colorado", the brand needs to be genuine, classic, and earthy. Rather than promoting trail as a road (like the beer logo above), more of a 'make your own adventure' sort of feel. Textural. We really like the burned in look of trail signs, but also like the iconography used at parks as well. It must be obvious though, and connect well to our users. Font used by National Parks and Forests is of interest, if it doesn't look TOO much like it is supposed to be out in the woods. NOT an overflowing stein/glass - overused!
A potential other idea would be to go toward a 1950s-60s classic America look. Road signs without necessarily the road itself. Old garage signs, neon, etc.
