"food. curated." is a new web show focusing on intimate food documentaries for people who love and search for good food. It's a foodie lover's food show that "curates" interesting stories about food culture, unique dishes and people within the food industry.
The show will have a relaxed vibe too it, like a video diary of food stories that will be "collected" over the years. Therefore, I want the logo to have a "journal" or "curiosity cabinet" like feel to it. Like something an artist would draw or sketch into their diary or journal. Or something a collector would "curate" into their curiosity cabinet http://storeforknowledge.com/images…-a901l.jpg.
The show will debut later this summer. The logo will be used for the show, website, blog, business cards and merchandising. It is my dream to launch this show and tell great food stories, and I am excited to review your submissions. Thanks!

Target Audience = Foodies, i.e. people who have a passion for or obsession with food.
The show targets foodies in a very casual way. Foodies are of all ages. Men & women alike. Therefore the colors should appeal to everyone.
The logo should be friendly and approachable and fun.
-A graphic incorporated into the logo that can be used separately on it's own as the show logo or "bug".
-Earth tones OR Vintage tones OR Water Color tones. Worn-in colors. Not bold. Like from old Curiosity Cabinets: http://tinyurl.com/p3sxmu
-Handwriting or Hand Drawn Fonts preferred
-Logo should look like it belongs in a diary or travel journal or curiosity cabinet.
-Food graphics are optional, but not required, to be in the logo.
-Logo should be fun and friendly and welcoming.
-All letters in lowercase
-A "period" after each word
-No cheesy or cartoon clip art (vector or self drawn art is preferred)
-No meaningless graphics
-No feminine colors
-No plain black&white logos
-No black backgrounds
-Not tech looking
-Not modern looking
-No flashy complicated logos. Keep it simple.
