I create quilling paper art. Quilling is a craft that involves curling, rolling and shaping different sized strips of paper to create different designs. I found quilling as my new hobby and it became my way to relax and unwind after a day at work, be creative with no limitations and make something unique and beautiful. Part of the reason why I am drawn to quilling is the symmetry, clean lines and the balance in each design I create.
The name of my company came out of the feeling of stress relief that I get when I’m quilling the paper strips into shapes. I find myself slowing down, taking deeper breaths and actually becoming calm as I quill paper strips. I’ve joked that it almost puts me in a tranquil state. Pair that with the actual art craft itself, quilling, and it’s a fun combination of the type of art and the stress relief it provides me. So TranQuillity Paper was born.
Target audience is women from 20 to 60 years old.

Inspiração de design
I’m looking for a design for my new quilling craft business that has a “playful professional” tone (not whimsical or juvenile… and not the other extreme of Victorian style). I like clean, simple lines and simple shapes (like line art representations of the quilling shapes) and my favorite colors are pink, purple and teal.
I would like a design that calls attention visually to the words “Quill” in the company name because that helps to identify the type of art/craft I create (quilling). My favorite shape to quill is the teardrop shape.
One color logo option (for reverse potential) and a multi colored logo option would be ideal. I’m likely to select a horizontal layout but open to creative interpretations and layouts.
Personally, I love when logo designs have hidden images/messages in them but I’m not sure if that can apply with this request (the hidden arrow in the FedEx logo, 31 in the Baskin Robbins logo). If you’re up to the challenge I’d love to see what you come up with.
