While SpotMyID appeals to a wide range of customers, the primary target is males and females (slight skew to females) 25-59 years old.
We need a logo design that conveys the idea of security and trustworthiness. While the image should clearly evoke the concepts of security and protection, it should also let the customer know the service is user-friendly and accessible.
Here's one idea: Spot is a watchdog that will fetch anything you ask him to. In the same way, SpotMyID will “fetch” any piece of your identity you entrust us with. Secure and reliable, yet something we can relate to and trust.
