RealStart seeks to enable disadvantaged young people from South Africa to move beyond the hopelessness of poverty and empower them to lead lives of meaning and purpose. Within South Africa a destructive post-matriculant void exists for the disadvantaged youth from our full racial spectrum. It is a void composed of almost inaccessible tertiary education and massive unemployment. The tragic consequences of this void are that these young people, many of whom have wonderful potential, are sucked into the hopeless spiral of unemployment and poverty with its many concomitant byproducts.
We are dedicated to building into the lives of young people and helping them overcome these employment obstacles
so they can live lives of meaning and purpose.

Unfortunately it's very broad. We need a logo that will click with our sponsors and yet still represent that we are essentially a youth focused organisation.
We would also like to be culturally aware so that the logo feels at home in Africa and overseas (where many of our donors will come from).
Our programme will target youth from across the full spectrum of races in South Africa.
Our organisation's descriptors - We are passionate about youth. Energetic. Visionary. Change agents. Professional. Caring. Creative. Fun.
We are looking for a logo that will reflect the nature of the work that we do - giving disadvantaged youth a real start in life. The message that the logo portrays is of primary importance.
The logo needs to be usable as a standalone accessory to fashion and design (t-shirts, caps, etc)
Simple, scalable, unique
Usable in black and white
Ridiculously, ridiculously good-looking
We are open to different directions ito look and feel.
We are launching with our first students in 2011 and the logo will direct our future design elements.
