Next Autoworks
Next Autoworks is a new American car company that is introducing a safe, high-quality, fuel-efficient, and well-equipped car for the U.S. market.
Our company philosophy is to create a more efficient automotive business model in order to deliver more value to our customers.
Our brand values are: pure, clean, modern, simple, minimal, fresh, iconic, timeless, heartwarming, friendly...
Our first car was designed by the legendary car designer Tom Matano, the father of the Mazda Miata. We want a clean, modern, iconic, and heartwarming logo to match the personality of our car. We have not made images of the car publicly available, so you have to base your logo designs on the brand values listed above.

This contest is pre-paid and includes two (2) guaranteed prizes of $1,000 each.
As a condition to acceptance of a design, Next Autoworks will require designer to execute and deliver an assignment of intellectual property rights in form and substance satisfactory to Next Autoworks in its sole discretion. No additional compensation other than that provided pursuant to the design contest administered through 99designs.com will be provided by Next Autoworks.

The logo needs to include a typographic treatment (logotype) for the words “Next Autoworks” and an associated company logo mark (symbol).
The logotype for Next Autoworks will appear on all company communications, advertising, website, etc. Any combination of upper/lower-case type is permissible for the logotype. The logo mark will also appear on our various communication materials, and on several parts of our car (the hood, rear hatch, steering wheel emblem, wheel center caps, for example). When placed on the car, the company logo mark will be in 3-D (either embossed or recessed), so it needs to be designed so that it can be translated into a 3-D version (you don’t need to submit a 3-D design, just keep that usage in mind). Also note that it will occasionally be framed by a circular element, such as a wheel center cap. Our initial thinking on the company logo mark has been focused on a stylized lowercase “N” theme, but we are open to any design that communicates the brand values described above.

Web file format - .jpg and layered .psd (RGB)
All designs submitted must be original works. Absolutely no stock images, clip art, third party designs or logos should be submitted.
