Como Parmenion começou a jornada do(a) design de logotipos
Nome da empresa
We are a European company that has the rights to a patented technology that turns waste plastic into valuable products like wax, lubricant oil, shoe polish. When in commercial operation, this technology will give new life to thousands of tonnes of plastic that might not be reused. Parmenion will be the overarching name since it translates well across different languages--we will be operating primarily in Western Europe. The 'MFG' stands for manufacturing and should likely be a less prominent part of the name. Parmenion was Alexander the Great's key general so that may be a valuable source of inspiration.
Conte para a gente quem é você e quem é seu público alvo
This will be a business-to-business brand. We will be working with waste companies to source plastics, government agencies to develop the market from country to country, and buyers of final product which may range from wax companies, engine lubricant companies, cosmetics companies, shoe polish companies, and consumer packaged goods companies.
Our website is parmenion.com
This should be a strong brand -- nothing flimsy. Each deal we enter into will involve large amounts of money so our brand must instill a sense of trust with the companies we work with.
We are a 'green' company but my experience with my last company, a renewable energy developer, is that sometimes you stand out of the crowd by branding in a way that doesn't get lost in the crowd of all these green businesses. I've attached the logo for my old company, StormFisher, so you can see -- we consistently got lots of praise for that brand and people would never forget us.
I think the 'MFG' part of the name should be less prominent than 'Parmenion' but this is a 'like to have' and not a 'must have'.
The final version of the winning logo should be available in various sizes and formats (e.g. jpg, ai, etc.) and in colour and black and white.
I'm attaching two 'animal-themed' logos that I like. These shouldn't limit your imagination but these are just logos I really like.
