We would like to incorporate the name PLUS a symbol of some sort. Also, please note that the letters PLLC should be much smaller than the rest of the name of the firm.
We absolutely DO NOT want the cheesy lawyer graphics (I.e, roman columns, scales of justice, courthouse, law books, gavels or anything of the sort) as a main symbol. However, we recognize that incorporating a legal graphic into an overall symbol may help best describe us. An Idaho state graphic can be used, as we are proud of our Idaho heritage and we serve clients statewide. Also, using a combination of "FK" in the symbol just seems to conjure up a four-letter word, so let's stay away from that.
We also like the idea of using an animal symbol, possibly one from the Rocky Mountain region of the northern US. Idaho-specific symbols include the Peregrine Falcon, Elk, Syringa (flower), Ponderosa Pine, Cutthroat Trout, Mountains, and of course, the Potato.
Our firm's founding partner is a woman in her late 40s. While she wants to project a professional, sophisticated image, she also meets clients "where they are" -- trying to relate to them on all levels so they are comfortable and a trusting relationship can be developed. That being said, we don't want an overly feminine logo, as we practice in a very conservative state that is male-dominated in the legal field. We always strive to be professional, but we don't wear suits unless we are in court.
Our firm's mission is to take the guesswork out of navigating the legal maze, and provide custom solutions to some of life’s biggest challenges. Our attorneys are dedicated to providing our clients with the concierge-style legal services they need to enjoy long-term stability & success for themselves and their families.
We would like to see the logo laid out on a business card/letterhead as well, in addition to just seeing the design on a white backdrop.
