Certified Artisanal is a company that will certify that a product is truly artisanal. Our target audience is everyone, with he goal of the logo appearing on products, packaging and websites. Our logo should stand for a seal of approval and should be easily recognizable. The logo should be clean and simple but with a sophisticated feel. The logo should reflect our 4 core standards of certification:
We like to think of Certified Artisanal as a certification that is similar to the non-gmo project, certified organic etc.
Bonus points if you can come up with a symbol based logo that could potentially stand on its own without words

Inspiração de design
First and foremost, we are not a tech company and the logo should reflect that. The logo needs to look like a seal - think wax seals from the days of sending letters. A seal includes several elements:
(1) There needs to be some sort of outer border that everything else fits inside (see Rag Proper logo for reference)
(2) Needs some sort of image inside the border that conveys our principles. Examples include hands doing something (like gardening, leatherworking etc.) or a variety of traditional tools intersecting. Feel free to get creative with these images.
(3) Needs the full name “Certified Artisanal” either completely within the border or with the horizontal edges slightly extending beyond the border. The name should be bold and clearly larger than anything else in the logo and it should also be super imposed over the inside-border images.
(4) Colors: Natural looking colors: oranges, yellows, dark neutrals, trying to communicate a handmade, earthy feel that isn’t a tech company
Over the last sixty years, Americans and citizens all over the world have experienced a precipitous decline in the quality of their products. With the rise of computers, automation, and industrial machinery, the fine art exhibited by masters like michelangelo has fallen by the wayside in favor of cheap mass produced trinkets. Certified Artisanal is a return to a more reliable time. When you see a product is Certified Artisanal, you know that it wasn’t produced in a sweatshop in Vietnam or on a manufacturing line with heavy machinery. Certified Artisanal is about more than just having the confidence that every stitch and seam were sewn and every rivet and plate welded with the craftsmanship than only a human can exhibit. Certified Artisanal is an organization of experts committed to returning to an era of high product standards. Our specialists have studied and examined traditional techniques for maximizing the quality and lifetime of your product. These techniques have survived for millennia, not only because they were needed for daily life, but because while a robot can mass produce a tool, it takes a person to create a work of art.
