I've had my own catering company for 5 years. Years of experience before this - Catering was my first job while I was in high school, and years later I was catering manager for a very high end company in Chicago for 6 years. Worked my way up and now own my own Upscale, Gourmet Catering Company. Everything we do is truly artisan, but at the same time we have a lot of fun with it!
I don't know if this matters, but this is now my LIFE! I've put everything I have into starting and running this company, and even with this awful economy, with other places closing all over, I have to keep moving forward.
This is what I do.
Presentation is very important to me, so everything we do is not only prepared well, but beautifully arranged and served.
Great feedback on all my food, but people go CRAZY for my desserts and savory pastries.
Woman owned company, now starting my own dessert and pastry line, called Fat Bottomed Girls.
Everything is made from scratch. Many natural ingredients. Sometimes I even grind my own flour! I consider my work to be an art form, but I also love what I do and have a lot of fun at it.
High end, gourmet foods. Informal market research shows that men and women alike love the name.
This line will include all types of baked goods, from Cakes, tortes, biscotti, etc., to breads and "non-dessert items".
