We are a small team of professional developers who are looking to bring to market software to support a wide range of enterprise integration platforms. Our software will enhance our customers' use of these platforms.
The dominant element in this brand is: Integration (integrating two or more systems together).
Supporting elements of the brand are: enhancement and reliability.
Our products will serve international customers across all markets. The common factor being their need to integrate several heterogeneous systems, such are payroll, inventory, sales etc.
Our target audience will be international medium-sized business and corporates who have invested in an enterprise integration platform and wish to enhance it through additional, feature rich software. Our brand therefore needs to be seen on a par with this style of customer.
Additional audiences are third-party consultancy firms who will be looking for ways to enhance their own customers' platforms, and bloggers who will help to promote our software in the blogosphere.
We are looking for a logo to represent our software business - Atomic-Scope (note that the hyphen *must* be present to match our domain-name and company registration).
Some design elements to consider:
1. We are looking for something that is **simple** - no complicated images or graphics. We are very keen on single colour logos such as those of Microsoft, Oracle and the Mono Project (http://www.mono-project.com/Main_Page) for example, but are open to other suggestions. Other ideas that we like also include the StackOverflow (stackoverflow.com) logo.
2. We like the visual of (on the same horizontal line): logo and then company name, similar to that of StackOverflow.com (http://sstatic.net/so/img/so/logo.png)
3. We do not have a colour palette for the company, so please feel free to use your imagination. We do not want any outlandish colouring however!
4. The typeface should be clear, simple and bold. Preferably all-uppercase or all-lowercase. We would rather not have some of the 'comic' fonts, e.g. Tahoma etc.
The logo will be used in a large variety of manners, from PowerPoint presentations and business cards to trade show signage and banners so scalability is important.
The files we will require are:
Print file format - .ai/.eps (CMYK)
Web file format - .tif and layered .psd (RGB)
Please do not use any stock images or clip art in the logo.
