Cupcake Cafe Bar
we opened the Cupcake Cafe Bar as a brand within Truly Scrumptious (see http://www.designer-cakes.com). The Cupcake Cafe Bar is located in an idylic countryside location. We make designer cakes for all occasions and last year started to sell cupcakes. This became very popular very quickly and is now the busiest part of our business.
We also run Cake Decorating Courses from the Cupcake Cafe Bar. Paul Bradford, who runs the courses, is our head designer. Paul has made cakes for royalty in the UK and in April this year made a cake for Prince Albert of Monaco. He is currently the only designer in the UK to have been awarded the Disciples de Escoffier award for his cake decorating skills. Paul teaches on average 3 one day classes a week, which are always full.
The main aim on the logo is to highlight the Cupcake Cafe Bar.
We have fantastic customer service skills and are very focussed on giving our customers a fantastic experience. Our aim is to create a centre of excellence for designer cakes, courses, but especially a fun place where people can come and enjoy quality coffee and tea, light lunches and most of all a delicious selection of sweet treats. So far we have been extremely busy with a full service every day since we opened. We have 7 tables inside and 4 outside. The Courses area can also be used for children's parties.

Using our exiting company we have managed to create quite a bit of interest in the Cucpake Cafe Bar. Our target audience is females with transport and time during the day to do lunch. Mum's with somewhere to bring the children for them to enjoy themselves.
This would largely be a new market for those with a sweet tooth.
It would also be an ideal place for people to meet (half way between Edinburgh and Glasgow) for a social or business meeting.
Our desired audience would be females 25-50.
We are looking for a design to show that we are a high quality venue and a brand to have fun. We have used dark colours in our brading in the past which has worked effectively to show a quality brand, but to use your judgement on whether that would fit well with having fun.
We like Cupcake to be one word.
