Five Dollar Fashion Flats
I've been a fashion designer in the California juniors market for the past 20 years. I am tired of the day to day drama of the industry, but I love creating flat sketches. I would like to offer my flat sketches to others for a great price and greatly believe in selling online. I am a closet tech-geek, too.
Small fashion companies, large fashion companies, design students and anyone that loves fashion and likes to play around on Adobe Illustrator.
The customer will want to buy fashion "flat sketches": these are the garment sketches that can be used for tech packs, patternmakers, cad boards, presentations, etc.
This will be kind of like an iStock, but for my fashion sketches, only. They will be available via digital downloads. Oh, and they are all just $5 each, hence Five Dollar Fashion Flats.
Be creative on this one, but just don't let it get too busy. Here are things that are key to this logo design project:
Final logo must be a vector image--I must be able to play with it in Illustrator to change color combos, sizing, layout or whatever I want to do with it in the future.
Feel free to use the whole name "Five Dollar Fashion Flats", "FDFF", "$5 Fashion Flats" or anything that comes to mind that represents the brand name.
Not too girly, not too masculine.
Nothing too corporate, still want to be considered indie, young and fun, but want to be able to grow into a very successful brand.
Tech is good, modern is great, but I also love sketchy & hand-drawn, too. Even a mix of both. Clean mixed with a little dirty could work...I am open to ideas at this point. Quirky is good. Off the beaten path, better.
As far as color goes, I really like black, white and greys with pops of brights, but again, open.
I've attached my "working" files of my current logo that I played with, but I am not really in to them anymore. The last one, FDFF Banner.jpg, also has some of the fashion flats on it that I will be selling.
Good luck and have fun with this one!
