Festival of Faiths - Sacred Water: Sustaining Life
The Festival is looking for images of water that convey spirituality and the notion that water has central significance to many faiths. Our views on and about water are informed by our own faith traditions, both in its uses in our rituals and its references in our sacred texts. The winning design will balance the water message with the message that many faiths are touched.
We are looking to create a graphic for this year's 14th Annual Festival of Faiths: Sacred Water: Sustaining Life that will be used on a brochure cover, websites, posters etc.
The Festival of Faiths is the flagship program of the Center for Interfaith Relations. Our slogan is: "Many Faiths, One Heart, Common Action”.
The Festival will be a mix of programs focusing on water's role in faith traditions, as a sacred element, and our present day responsibility to see that fresh clean water is available to all people today and into the future.
The target audience is faith and spiritual communities, those concerned about the environment and people interested in helping to create a better world.
Design should incorporate the words:
Festival of Faiths - Sacred water: Sustaining Life November 5 - 14, 2009
Design should work well as a 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 inch brochure cover.
Should reproduce well on paper and electronically
