I am a 32 Financial Planner. My client base is very diverse, ranging from 25 year old winery workers to 91 year old retired chemist. I have clients that work on Hollywood sets and clients that are Physical Therapist. The name of my firm is Paradigm Shift Investment Group. The idea behind the name is that my goal was/is to shift the Paradigm or a persons perception of what a financial planner looked like, acted and what they could expect in their interactions. Instead of a cold, jargaon filled interaction, I seek to provide a warm, informative, educational, welcoming environment where clients feel in control and informed about what their money is doing.
While my current client base is diverse, I would define my target market as middle aged to older women, possibly divorced or separated that need an ally in ensuring they are financially successful. I've also noticed a growing segment of my practice is the LGBT community and domestic partnerships. I'm targeting both working class professionals as well as those who may be retired or approaching retirement. I want to convey competency, trust, success. I want to convey that this is a highly professional, high end firm.
I like simple, chic, clean, modern. I'm not opposed to symbolism. One of my favorite logos ever is that which is used by Deutsche Bank - https://www.db.com/en/media/Logo_History.pdf although it's main fault is that it is actually too simplistic.
I wouldn't mind a logo that integrates the P & S of Paradigm Shift, or the PSIG of Paradigm Shift Investment Group. I plan to use a two sided car, one side of which will be dark, but not necessarily black. So the logo will have to incorporate well with dark colors. I'm mostly open on the color scheme.
I like black and green as well as gray and green. But I also like red, hot pink, orange and gray, I'd like to avoid blue as it seems to be an overly utilized color. However if you come up with something that you think is worth using, please do. I like simple, chic, clean, modern. But I'm relying on you to use your talent and skill, unbridled.
