Advanced Pediatrics
A while back we launched and completed a competition for this Pediatric Practice. THEN when all was done, the good doctor decided to change his brief - and so we have to start again! So here we go!
The company is a high-end Pediatric Practice called “Advanced Pediatrics”. It has been in existence for many, many years – but has now decided to create an entirely new look as well as moving to a new location - and to become cutting edge in its approach and look - while at the same time presenting a service which is warm and family-friendly.
Advanced Pediatrics serves youth and children from birth to 18 years old. Although the practice is PEDIATRIC, the target is usually the parents – as it is they who schedule appointments and not the children. The practice services all socio-economic groups, and all ethnicities.
A LOGO:
Although this is not a new company, please look at this as a “Logo for a New Company”. They have never had a logo before. The logo is to included BOTH the name (Advanced Pediatrics) and a graphic/icon.
Style: High Tech; Artsy; Contemporary; (Medical - not critical).
Colors: Unlimited for the graphic/icon, while the name “Advanced Pediatrics” should be one color – preferably black. At present there are no “company colors” but NOTE for the “graphic/icon” the doctor likes strong, colors. Their website is couched in strong blue, orange, red, green, yellow, etc., etc. The Logo needs to be exciting.
Creative Strategy:
a. The doctor does NOT want images of kids, children nor child-like items.
b. The name “Advanced Pediatrics” should be in a simple, but effective font
c. The icon/graphic is where the strong colors are to be.
d. We are looking at TWO possible styles of graphic:
i. Free expression of shapes, sizes, and colors; these could be a mix of geometric shapes OR abstract shapes that illustrate the CONCEPT of the word “Advanced” which is part of the practice’s name (as in advanced, hi-tech, cutting edge, etc., etc.) The icon CAN connect or run into the name - but does not HAVE to.
OR
ii. A deft use of the letters “A” and P” – particularly as the “A” lends itself to forming the shape of a stethoscope.
OR
iii. Both
That's it - thanks
