NextCustomer is passionate about helping its customers find their next customer. The business of NextCustomer is one of providing access to information and hosting world class events.
NextCustomer is the new parent brand for the already established and successful LeadsCon conference (http://www.leadscon.com).
This project is focusing on creating the logo for NextCustomer and three new newsletter brands. The three newsletter brands all begin with "Next," and so the goal is to decide upon the style of NextCustomer and then create slight variations for the three newsletter brands.

NextCustomer serves the world of internet advertising. Our clients are professionals but not old. They are the Museum of Modern Art instead of the Smithsonian. Think of brands like Mashable, Techcrunch, and Gigom. This is the same type of audience that we serve.
With our brand we are trying to convey one of information and insight, thought leadership and the place to turn to. For lack of a better word, gravitas is what we are going for but by still feeling approachable.
We are looking for more than a logo. We are looking for a brand identity.
As mentioned above, the winner will first create the parent logo and then create the three sub brands (the newsletters). Each will start with "Next." They are:
We do not need all three done to start. We just want the designer to be aware that the design for NextCustomer is part of a greater brand play, and that the winning designer will be asked to do the sub-brands as well.
I am open to different capitalization, e.g., NextCustomer or nextCustomer. We are open to different font types as well, but nothing in the Times family.
The design should be clean, modern. It should look good on a business card as well on a site. It does not require any special artwork, but we are open to any treatment/ideas (e.g., http://www.datalot.com).
