Como jsmock começou a jornada do(a) design de logotipos
West-Mont Christian Academy is a unique blend of traditional and progressive ideas. We need a logo to communicate our bold, yet solid educational program. WCA has an impressive Athletic and Fine Arts program, but considers it's Biblical stance paramount to all aspects of developing our Kindergarten thru grade 12 students. We are known for our support of parental authority to raise, train, educate, discipline, guide, and direct them through their lives.

West-Mont Christian Academy, founded in 1980, has never had an official logo. Through the years, we have used a few "poor" attempts at a logo to print various brochures (picture of one of our buildings, our letters "WCA" in an arrangement, etc.)... but have generally utilized a stamped golden eagle on most of our literature...it's flashy but doesn't say much about our school. Since our mascot is "West-Mont Wings" the eagle works okay... but we're in the Philadelphia area and many schools use an eagle as their mascot...but we aren't a football team. We've started a capital campiagn and felt the need to review our logo. We suggested a logo (that we borrowed from Williamsburg Christian Academy... with their permission) that was a simple golden line drawing of an eagle... and our board struggled with the change. A few other designs were presented but none were what appeared to be a "keeper." We're looking for a logo that can encompass our rich program of education, fine arts, and athletics, under the Christian prominance of our curriculum. We originally used a "seal" type image (circle with West-Mont Christian Academy inside and an eagle flying into it... but lost the art work... and it wasn't a logo-style drawing.
