BRILLIAN Technologies, LLC
BRILLIAN Technologies, LLC is a consulting firm and reseller that provides innovative technology solutions to restaurants and other merchants to help them improve sales and profitability. The company uses a consultative sales approach to talk directly with business owners and managers.
One of the key product lines is credit card processing with a focus on Pay-At-The-Table, which uses wireless, handheld terminals at restaurants enabling servers to process credit cards in front of customers at their tables. While these devices are commonly used in Europe and Asia, they have been very slow to catch on in the US – I want to change that. The devices increase speed and efficiency at restaurants so they can turn tables faster and they also dramatically improve credit card security because the customers’ credit cards never leave their sight. These terminals can also be used by companies to process credit card payments for goods or services when payment is received away from the office.
BRILLIAN Technologies, LLC has a strong portfolio of complimentary value-added solutions for restaurants and other merchants. It includes online ordering and purchasing/sourcing websites, payroll pay cards, gift and loyalty cards, and an innovative social media advertising program. There are a number of additional products and services and more will be added to the product line over time.
Owners and managers of restaurants and other businesses -- typically multi-location (corporate or franchise owned) chains.
The name is actually a combination of my children’s names, but at first pass, it looks likes “BRILLIANT”. Keeping BRILLIAN and Technologies close together to capitalize on “BRILLIANT” is prefferred. I want to convey creativity, innovation and inspiration – “BRILLIANT“ – but I don't want to be too trite or obvious. The logo needs to be distinctive and memorable. I like the tag line ”Innovations for your business” for the business card, but I am open to other metaphors, concepts and tag lines.
I am open to a variety of colors. I would like something bright, but not too overpowering or literal to the idea of being bright (like a starburst). Perhaps blues or greens rather than reds/oranges
The logo should be professional and sophisticated, but also simple and modern – even a little hip. I prefer sans-serif fonts that are clean and crisp, but not “futuristic”. LLC should be included in the treatment.
The logo will be used on business cards, letterhead, website, etc.

Both of these items in an integrated design together.
The logo should be adaptable so it will work in vertical and horizontal layouts. Preferably it should work in black and white (for faxes).
A design that is too busy, stodgy, "techy" or too restaurant-specific.
