I am a second generation of a local family real estate company. Recently coming on board to join my brother in having this real estate firm of 32 years- look like a company of 2009 without losing our market share. We are in a suburban community with a split of traditionalists as well as urban folks wanting to move out of the city.

Audience varies in age (20's-?) we want to show that we still have ties to our previous logo- which is well known in our community- but, showing that we're moving forward. Many people that move to Naperville move from Chicago- or other cities from across the nation.
-"john greene"- should be lower case
-Realtor (must have trademark and be capitalized- yuck...I know- design-wise it's not cool!)
-Able to be seen on a yard sign
-we are "altering" our current logo- not too far of a departure- but, modernizing
-we would like to possibly use the house- but we are open to new ideas as well
-Clean lines, not fluffy or script please
