Running through Walls
To provide monetary and emotional support to the changing needs of children, adolescents, and emerging adults fighting their battles with cancer and life after cancer.
Running through Walls is a hybrid foundation founded by a survivor- a sister who fought with her, a brother who grew up with her, a mother and father who endured with her, a husband who married her and a miracle son who came from her.
Our foundation is unique in that it does not limit itself to one particular area of fundraising. We believe that cancer must be attacked from all angles. Financial support is imperative for the research to annihilate cancer once and for all and emotional support for the fighters because their battle must first be won in the mind of the individual.
Personal story of what Running through Walls means.
One of the owners was sick with childhood cancer when she was 16. And her response to everyone who asked what was it like or what were you thinking, how did you get through it? Her reply was "I was 16, I thought I could run through walls".
Children are blessed with the idea of invincibility. It's that mindset that makes them stronger canidates to beat cancer. In their head they have already won!
We are open to all creative designs. We do have something in mind that we are wondering if anyone could put together.
We were thinking of a split brick wall with bricks flying away from it and a shadowed foot or person running or kicking through it.
We do not have official colors for our logo either, but we are leaning towards metallic neon green and whatever flows with that. But we are open to suggestions. We need our foundation to be unique and we do not want colors that are associated with other foundations.
