SlimKinetic uses a science and research based approach to diet and exercise for proven results. No fads, no gimmicks. Just straight talk and hard work. Our approach leverages group dynamics & social networks, science & technology, rehab psychology & activism to educate, motivate and change habits. We intend to demonize the fat industry, wake up the masses about their health risks (and costs) and breakthrough the fat and sedentary epidemic in the U.S.

The 65% of the U.S. population that is overweight and sedentary is our customer. Most are the older baby boomers over 40. Women tend to be more receptive than men (although men are equally as fat). They are also likely to be more educated and affluent, esp. given our populist approach.
We're looking for a logo that is somewhat serious and corporate, given our commitment to science. But we also want something that's hip, although not faddish. We'd like to communicate results, energy, good health and a positive experience. Our preference is for bold colors and strong type. We'd also like a distinctive graphic element that might someday stand on it's own (we're likely to abbreviate the name to "SlimKin" down the road). And we want to incorporate our tagline ... "Interval Dieting. Medicinal Exercise. Tribal Psych."
