I'm a very keen sailor who owns and races a yacht in Melbourne, Australia. I love my sailing and enjoy mostly social racing on a regular basis over summer. We often travel the boat to other locations to join different regattas and sometimes race the boat overseas as well.
I love the way sailing takes my mind off work and the reall enjoyment that a crew experiences when sailing on a beautiful summer afternoon. The success that comes from building a crew over time is very rewarding.
But as an owner of the boat it nearly always falls on me to organise everything and everyone. In order to operate the boat successfully, we utilise a variety of technologies. A publicly available exchange calendar, a to do list, a regatta schedule, a blog site, a twitter account and a facebook page for photos.
This all becomes increasingly messy and difficult to maintain.

Provide us a stunning, well thought through logo that leans towards the water and yachting yet combines the web 2.0/3.0 social networking characteristics of as well. It should be easy to read, clear and concsise and be able to be used as a sticker on a boom.
