Alessa Casati is a brand that was founded in 2006 in Mexico City, created by its two designers Alejandra Albarran and Sofia Casares. The label has grown fast, and now they present two collections a year in Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Mexico. They have been to several trade shows such as Coterie NY., Project Las Vegas, Pret a Porter Paris and others. With clients as Salam Studios, in Dubai, and Doha. They also sell all over Mexico in high end boutiques, and are being represented by a Showroom in New York.
They use high quality fabrics from all over the world and their designs are young, new, and very trendy.
They have been published in the most important fashion magazines, such as Vogue, Elle, In fashion, Glamour, In Style and many more.
They won the Lycra Fashion Award for BEST NEW DESIGNER, for their spring-summer collection 08.
The Brand logo as well as the webpage were desgined for us by a graphic designer, but we feel it does not represent who we are. We think it looks mature and serious and not very creative, and we are a young, innovative designer brand. We need a refreshment of our whole look, and we are currently working on this in all areas.

Our target is indepent women with a taste for art, design and fashion. A women who understands a garment for its manufacture and for its design. We want the trendiest girls to buy our clothes. The women who buy Alessa Casati have a natural talent to put together the best outfit, they don´t buy prefabricated looks from any brand. They search for special pieces that will enhace their wardrobe, it doesn´t have to be expensive, this girl can go into a vintage store and find the most unique piece that finishes the look they are going for.
They are creative and love to combine styles to create their own unique style.
We have always wanted our buyers to find in our collections the exact garment that they know they can put together with something else. Special pieces for special people who dress by instinct.

Requisitos

We are looking for a slick creative logo, that represents our brand as a young, new and trendy womens wear label. We want our costumers to buy our clothes as if they were buying some valuable object. We want to be understood as a ready to wear brand, directed for young women who love fashion. And it is very important to consider that we want our image to be completely based in contemporary design with an edge. Please feel free to be creative, but keep in mind we want something simple, easy to remember, but very strong. Direct, creative, young, innovative but always with a femenin but rough edge to it. It may have some vintage idea behind, or some rock connotation but always with the girlie touch in a rough way and simple.
The colors are not yet decided... you can feel free to work with color, but we do believe more serious colors work better for fashion such as grey, black, white. And as you can see our current logo has a little image in between the two words. We dont really like it because it is very mature style, but it is useful to have a symbol as well to represent the brand. Or it could be only letters. Think of similar brands, like Rag and Bone, Alice and Olivia, Phillip Lim, or any of these contemporary labels.
