This is a new startup that is focused on creating a "one stop shop" for everything fashion. The website will focus on two main aspects:
1) A database of world-renowned luxury/high end designers, their history, accomplishments, etc. as well as a community/blog area for visitors to discuss recent news, upcoming styles, etc. We are going to highly encourage visitors to participate in conversations and fashion-related promotions.
2) An e-commerce section where visitors will have the opportunity to purchase best-selling and rare fashion products (handbags, shoes, accessories, etc) at heavily discounted prices.

Our target audience is the chic fashionable public, which will consist of mostly women ages 16+, but some men as well. These people are extremely trendy and are always first to buy a new hot item before the rest of their friends & family. Mostly luxury buyers located in the USA and Europe.
The logo must be very fashion-forward, "sharp", and eye catching. It should have some sort of "chatter" or "discussion" or "gossip" element to it since the name of the company/website is Designer Chatter. Something on the feminine side and not too "web 2.0"-ish.
We don't have any set colors yet, so feel free to experiment a little... but just keep in mind who your target audience is. Our only request is NO BROWN PLEASE.
We are ideally looking for a logo that portrays a feeling of luxury and high-worth, but also fun and trendy.
