I'm a holistic nutritionist specializing in natural foods education. I'm on a mission to end obesity and help people regain their health and live happier lives :) Yay!
My aim is to create an AWESOME information site where people can really gain access to high quality articles, videos and other tools they can use to begin getting life back on track and taking the step they need to really improve their health.
My target audience is educated, professional women ages 20-60 who are overweight and seriously low on energy.
I have attached a few examples of EXACTLY what I'm looking for. Please be sure to look so you can save yourself a lot of time.
My logo needs to look like it could be the sister publication to any major newspaper (think Wall Street Times, Washington Post, etc.) so think: PROFESSIONAL PUBLICATION.
However, as you can see in the two attached examples for "Metropolitan Minute" the designer took a great professional, newsprint-looking font then added the faint cityscape in the background! AWESOME--Just what I'm looking for--except it needs to be something related to weight loss....
In the other two examples for "Hometown News" and "Florida Today" the designer used a bird for the "H" and in a solar looking thing for the "O". I like this concept too. So if you have some creative idea around it that's cool.
I'm considering adding the tagline: Lose Weight, Not Energy so if you want to include that, I think that would be good.
Things I like: Black and Red colors, crisp, bold fonts, easy to read...
Things I don't like: Nothing "cute" or "trying to be funny", no images of snoring people, again I really want it to be as professional and look newsworthy and as credible as possible.
Thanks so much and please let me know if you have any questions!
P.S.-- I'm planning to redo the entire site to be more information based, so what I have up now is not what the new design will be like at all...
