We are setting up a website with extensive info about companies which are declared bankrupt. The website contains information and reports from different public resources. Those info is combined in a complete file on the specific company. The site contains info about more than 20.000 companies which have gone bankrupt in the past 4 years. The info is updated daily with new facts, reports, news and new bankrupt companies. Services we will offer besides showing the extensive info are: sending alert emails on bankruptcies of specific companies, regions or branches and showing statistic information. All the services will be offered for free.
There a two competitors who offer nearly the same information but charge money for seeing anything but the basic info: www [dot] curatoren [dot] nl and www [dot] faillissementen [dot] com.
The official government source for this information is: insolventies.rechtspraak.nl/Default.aspx. They offer very limited info.

There are several target audiences for the site:
All people involved in the bankruptcy. The owners of the company, employees etc.
Creditors and debtors who are interested in the status of the bankrupt company
Customers (business and consumer) who want to check if there supplier is still healthy
Suppliers who want to check the status of their customer
Curators, lawyers and law firms for information about a bankruptcy or information about competitors
Buyers or auction houses interested in buying companies, stock or inventory
The logo will only be used for a website. The website has to be designed after we have decided on the logo.
The logo will be placed in the left side of the header on every webpage. The website is non scalable and centered on the screen with a width of 990px. On the right site of the header will be the search box and standard links for contact etc.
The maximum size of the logo is 490px x 90px. Smaller is also possible. In the same space we would also like to put a tagline under or besides the logo.
As tagline we would like to use:

We offer (public) official information about a delicate subject. The logo has to reflect that.
