We are creating a media aggregator that amplifies women’s voices by providing a one-stop shop for smart news and connections for women. Using a Huffington Post model we plan to collect existing quality content that is currently fragmented across cyberspace (feminist blogs, not for profit organizations, campus dailies, female news writers, etc) and package them in an appealing format. We will also produce unique content such as video interviews of high profile women, contributions from female thought leaders, and partnerships with intl women’s groups. We will feature women owned businesses and link to their sites. Lastly, we will create a powerful community and robust advertising vehicle that will direct a portion of profits back to organizations that promote girls education and women in untraditional careers.

Educated professional women from 25-45. The women is sophisticated, independent, and sassy. She is at least a manager level in her company. She drives an Audi sedan, lives in an urban loft and is regularly plugged in to current events. She is turned off by: girly girl sites as well, angry feminist blogs and overly masculine sites. She likes smart news and inspiring content. She also considers herself a creative and goes to art galleries. She is well dressed with designer attire.

Colors: Simple color scheme with 1-2 bold colors. Anything NOT girly (i.e. no pink or purple!)
Other: Logo must be able to stand apart from name and be a distinct graphical elements. Although it shouldn’t be pink, it also should not be overly masculine and angular. It should represent women….but as a new feminist—the sexy, powerful feminist.
