The Excellence Effect
The Excellence Effect is a new movement launching in October 2010. Our goal is to positively impact 50 million families by 2015 by showing them how they can lead lives of excellence and good character by following the 8 Keys of Excellence.
The 8 Keys of Excellence are character traits "principles to live by" developed by Bobbi DePorter 25 years ago. The 8 Keys are Integrity, Failure Leads to Success, Speak with Good Purpose, This is it (make the most of every moment), Commitment, Ownership, Flexibility and Balance.
The 8 Keys of Excellence have been used by thousands of teachers and have helped hundreds of thousands of school students over the years. Now, Learning Forum International, a non-profit organization, wants to show families how they can benefit from the 8 Keys.

Primary target is parents of kids 5-18 years old in the U.S. and abroad; all socio-economic backgrounds. We also want to appeal to key influencers: politicians, media, and education, corporate, social-change and thought leaders.
We want a logo and wordmark that can work together and stand on their own. The wordmark will contain all three words: The Excellence Effect.
Primary colors are navy blue and metallic gold. The final product can be in just these two colors. At the very least, they should be the dominant colors with possibly another color as an accent.
The design of the logo and wordmark must convey "excellence." They should have an elegant, clean and sophisticated look.
The logo and wordmark will be featured at The Excellence Effect's website and in print, promotional and publicity material.
