We are a crowdfunding platform that connects medical startups with physicians and investors. We are scientific. Data driven. Medical. All about strong financial returns.
Our logo must appeal to physician investors. It should seem smart. Our investors are doctors and they love data and science.
It should feel secure in that we are dealing with investments...not whimsical.

Inspiração de design
People liked our initial logo - the lightbulb. However, we determined that we are less about "innovation" and more about "investments" into innovation...so the lightbulb was more reflective of the companies we invest in and our message should be one of medical + science + finance. We thought perhaps the lightbulb could be modified to include some subtle finance and/or investment elements in or around it. For example, perhaps a flicker of electricity inside the bulb that indicated an EKG chart or a stock chart going up to the right as you would see in finance articles. We do like the font used in the recommended version in the attached document....using a capital "A" in "AngelMD". So, we'd like a logo to include this handling of AngelMD but adding a better mark that is simple, clear and smart. We've loaded other symbols that are standard in science or medicine. The iMedExchange logo was smart because the designer used some symbolic language....the triangle stands for "delta" or change which doctors would know. That kind of smart use of symbols is what we are striving for. Not gimmicky....but a sharp logo/mark that a doctor would look at for a second and say "I get that. Clever." Other key themes to what we do: "connection" and "connectivity"...we are powered by the wisdom of the crowd.
