RYL caters to individuals that are considered ‘new money’ and ‘old money’, therefore the design needs to reflect that. There needs to be ambiguity in the design, similar to the way Jaguar is branded-- it is unclear whether Jaguar is targeting new or old money.
The logo design needs to successfully capture RYL’s attitude, as well as values, personality, and provide an accurate portrayal of the experience associated with our brand.
-RYL’s values: transparent, information rich, engaged, involved in the process, trustworthy, responsive, warm, dependable, consistent, honorable
-RYL’s personality: warm, detail-oriented, respectful, courteous, responsible, stable, sophisticated, elegant, value-driven, distinguished

We are looking for an elegant and classic logo. Our website is being designed with a black background, so something to keep in mind while designing the logo. Moreover, the color scheme will be black, white, and grey, with a blue accent color that will play with lighting and shadowing. The color scheme was derived from the Casino Royale jpg attached.
RYL stands for Royal without the vowels. It speaks to the level of service we provide our clients.
We’re interested in seeing a logo with an icon (ideas: crown or wings). Thus far, the logo concepts I've seen with an aircraft have been rather tacky, so I might be better to stay away from that concept.
